Lab Testing
With the most advance lab equipments, Simpor’s Quality Control lab can do in-house lab testing as well as perform physical, chemical analytical, and microbiological testing upon requests.
Chemical Testing
Simpor offers verification of chemical compounds in raw materials and finished products that includes the use of equipment such as:
- ICP (Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometer)
- UHPLC (Ultra High Pressure Liquid Chromatography)
- TOC (Total Organic Count)
- GC (Gas Chromatograph)
- FTIR (Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrophotometry)
- UV/Vis (Ultraviolet/Visible Spectrophotometry)
Microbiological Testing
The microbiology laboratory’s primary function is to verify the absence of harmful bacterial and other microbial contamination. Assays that are typically performed include:
- Total Bacterial Count;
- Total Yeast and Mold Counts; and
- Testing for and identification of: Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas, anaerobic bacteria, Clostridium perfringens and Clostridium species
